Hello from our Federal Way Public Market Board Secretary

 Hi, I'm the Secretary for the Federal Way Public Market Board. I'm incredibly excited about the potential for a public market in Federal Way. I've lived in the Federal Way area for 32 years. I've watched with pride as it became a city. Unfortunately, strip malls, warehouses, storage units and apartments, that we meant to avoid, have taken root. The arrival of light rail in 2024 provides us an exciting opportunity to come together to build a vibrant and livable future for our city. A public market, built with community input and energy, will entice new employers, entrepreneurs, tourists and shoppers to our city, and provide a gathering place where we can celebrate our wonderful diversity.
