Greg McCann, President
Residents of Federal Way for 30 years, Greg and his wife Lisa (both retired Air Force officers) raised two kids who attended public schools. In his 23 years flying in the US Air Force, Greg stood on every continent on Earth, serving his country in war and peace. As a civilian, he continues to live by the oath he swore; leadership and service have always been a part of who Greg is. Lisa has been a Girl Scout leader, long-time PTA officer, and a member of Jet Cities Chorus, which recently won the regional competition (for the second time!).
Currently a manager and test pilot (BS, MS, MBA) at Boeing, Greg is also Assistant Scoutmaster in Federal Way Scout Troop 361, where he helps boys become strong, confident, and productive members of their communities and nation. As a 10-year Student Mentor at Raisbeck Aviation High School, he worked with youth to help them become the innovators and leaders our nation needs. He was a longtime member of PTAs and Treasurer for the nonprofit local chapter of The Society of Experimental Test Pilots.
Dave Harrelson, Secretary
Married, and a 38-year resident of Federal Way, David retired after 20 years with Washington State Department of Health, where he worked on policy development and advocacy in tobacco control and youth marijuana prevention. He also managed millions of dollars of contracts with local health departments, community-based organizations, and tribes, and served as manager for the Washington State Cancer Registry. Prior, he worked 17 years with the Washington Division of the American Cancer Society as community organizer and program manager of state-wide prevention and early detection programs. He has experience in fundraising/grant writing, materials development, training and coaching, and program evaluation.
In his own words: “The arrival of light rail in 2024 provides Federal Way leaders and residents with a once-in-a-generation opportunity to ensure a culturally vibrant and economically prosperous future for my city. I’ve become convinced that a public market, built with community input and energy, would stimulate jobs and small business growth, while creating the downtown gathering place - the ‘heart and soul’ that we’ve never had and have been seeking for years.”
Megan Nadan, Treasurer
A proud Northwest native, Megan grew up in Olympia, where her passion for public markets began with summer visits to the Olympia Farmers Market. She has called Federal Way home since 2013 and currently serves as Senior Operations & People Manager at Washington STEM, helping advance educational equity through strong organizational systems and well-coordinated events. With an extensive background in nonprofit operations and event management, Megan brings both strategic insight and hands-on experience to the Federal Way Public Market board.
Megan has a long history of community involvement, having served on the Olympia Arts Commission and on the board of the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation. Her professional journey has centered around mission-driven work that supports youth, families, and communities—values that align closely with the Market’s vision for a vibrant, connected Federal Way.
She shares, “Everywhere I travel, I’m drawn to the local markets—they’re the heart of the community. I’m excited to help create that same sense of connection and discovery right here in Federal Way through the Public Market.” Outside of work, Megan and her husband Jay, a local real estate agent, enjoy traveling, exploring new markets, and spending time outdoors with their dog Maya and cat Abby. A passionate baker, Megan is always creating something new in the kitchen.
AnnMichelle Hart
A resident of Federal Way since 1974 after her father, a jet engine mechanic in Vietnam was stationed here, AnnMichelle is an Estate Planning Attorney with experience in business law. She had previously had a very successful wedding planning business and has worked in customer service and sales for several major corporations in the Puget Sound region. The combination provides the Federal Way Public Market deep skills in planning, logistics, budgeting, structure & process, identifying safety issues. developing a business incubator, and assessing contracts for us and our market businesses.
She has been active in helping our community since she was a young teen, raising money for various charities, including building the first Ronald McDonald House at Seattle Children's Hospital. She’s done volunteer work with street kids while at college in Seattle, as a Day Camp Counselor for both the Federal Way Boys & Girls Club, and the Seattle YMCA. In her adult years, she serves as a board member and chaperone for a local chapter of an international girls organization and serves as Federal Way Public Market’s liaison to the Arts Commission and Youth Commission. She is the survivor of Domestic Violence and works to bring these issues to light in our community and in the court system.
In her own words: “This project was the perfect way to spark the change this city needs to retool itself for a better economic future beginning with the opening of our light rail stations. If we take advantage of light rail to recast our trajectory, we will become a more vibrant, safe, fun, sustainable self-sufficient city.”
Ron Walker, Vice President & Visioneer
As a 36-year resident of Federal Way, Ron has dedicated over two decades to volunteer service in the community. His contributions include chairing the Federal Way Diversity Commission and the MLK Day Organizing Committee. He has also been recognized as the Federal Way Chamber/Mirror Volunteer of the Year, and served as President of his Homeowners Association. He also has served on NWC Church’s Business Council and as the Head Coach on NWC's Sports Ministry.

Favour Orji
Favour Orji’s family has called the city of Federal Way home for more than 20 years, giving her a deep and personal connection to the community. A proud Nigerian-American entrepreneur and strategist, Favour is the Managing Principal of Ada Unlimited, a business consulting firm specializing in management, IT and staff augmentation. Under her leadership, Ada Unlimited has partnered with public-sector and nonprofit clients including Sound Transit, the City of Seattle, the Washington State Department of Health, and the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, delivering results in project management, staff augmentation, executive search, and data-driven organizational development.
Favour brings more than a decade of experience in strategic planning, business process improvement, and technology integration, specializing in helping organizations align mission, people, and performance. She is widely recognized for her people-centered approach, which emphasizes equity, collaboration, and empowerment. Beyond consulting, she actively supports civic and community-based initiatives focused on workforce development, affordable housing, and cultural programming, helping to build stronger, more inclusive economic ecosystems across the Puget Sound region.
Her perspective as a Nigerian-American deeply influences her professional philosophy and community engagement. Favour believes that representation and inclusion are essential to innovation and progress, and she is passionate about creating opportunities that reflect the cultural richness and entrepreneurial spirit of diverse communities.

Rino Balatbat, Architect
Happily married for 42 years, with 2 children and 1 grandchild , Rina Balatbat has been a proud resident of Federal Way for 31 years. He has more than 42 years of experience as a Design Manager and Registered Architect. Rino was an architect of record for the new Point Ruston development in Tacoma, and has worked as a Senior Architect at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration.
